Nursery - pretty much done!

Here are a few pictures of the nursery mostly done.  I still have to center some pictures and fix some holes in the wall.  But other than that....it is pretty much done.  (Of course, the stroller and other moveable things will find their place eventually.

P.S.  29 days until my due date.  :D

SHOWERS!!!! I am so clean! ;D

I have had three showers in the past two weeks!  Aaron, Ava, and I have been so blessed by everyone.  Here are a few pictures from the showers.  Thanks to everyone for all of the goodies and surprises.

This is from the shower with the church ladies.  It was so nice!  Everyone did a lot of work and the result was awesome.  I am so blessed to have such sweet and caring friends.  :)

These are pictures from the shower in SC.  It was mainly a family shower, but a few friends we consider family were there too.  Family came from all around, and it was such a wonderful time.  I was so glad to see everyone and just hang out!  Splendid!

These pictures are from my office shower.  The ladies (and man) at work were so generous and so sweet.  It was even a surprise.  :)  Very touching!!

Doctor's Visit Today

It was very simple.  He checked the heartbeat and checked her position.  Her head is pretty low in my pelvis, which he said was normal.  So that's good.  Everything is looking fine.  :)

The Nursery

Okay, here are a few pictures I have taken of the nursery - so far.  I've got a few more things to do, so I will post those once they are done.  I feel like it is relaxing and all.  I didn't want anything too bright right now.  :D  Plus, I have a lot of bright and color "play mats" etc for the baby.

The colors have ended up being sage and lavender.  And other neutrals.  Anyways, just thought it would be fun to share with everyone!

For Your Viewing Pleasure

Here are some recent pictures of me, a little further along. I have some of the earlier stages, but I guess I kind of look the same as always.
P.S. I will post some ultrasound pictures soon. Also, I will post some pictures of the nursery tomorrow. It is coming along nicely.

29 Weeks - May 2, 2008

32 Weeks May 25, 2008

Not so good....at blogging!

Okay, so it's been over a month since I made that first post.  The Rhogam shot wasn't that bad, except that I had to go to the hospital twice (once to double check my blood and for the actual shot).  And I don't have gestational diabetes.  Whoohoo.

Now I am on bi-weekly doctor's appointments.  It is definitely getting closer and closer to D-Day!  We finally got the nursery mostly set-up, the little 0-3 month clothes washed and a travel system.  Now all we need is the baby.  Not yet though.  She is permitted to vacate no sooner than June 28.  I will be 37 weeks then.  But hey, nothing like preparing huh?

My next appointment is Thursday.  I'm sure it won't be anything too big, just a regular check up.  Maybe if I remember, I will post then.  ;D

First Post

Here is my (our) first post.  I thought it might be fun to have a blog, so my long distant family can keep up with everything dealing with my pregnancy.

I am currently 27 (almost 28) weeks.  Everything has been going fine with the pregnancy so far.  The only slightly "bad" thing is that I have A- blood.  This is bad for me because I have to get a shot or two.  Oh well.  I am concerned with having a healthy baby.  So the next two things that I have to do are: do my glucose test (tomorrow), and get the shot for having A- blood (Monday).
